Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Sr. Java Developer, Tech Lead to join the team in Windsor, CT. This person will work in a team with all latest technologies and processes to execute the project. Exciting opportunity to work with a very tech savvy team which will enable you to explore all technical and analytical skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Overall 10 + years IT experience with minimum of 4+ years into design and development using Java Fuse and Camel is needed to support this requirement.

Knowledge of hands-on coding in the implementation REST based data services. The Sr. Developer/Team Lead will need to have an extensive background designing and developing Java applications using top notch skills including but not limited to Java, Fuse, Camel, Jboss EAP, CXF, REST, SOAP web services, Angular JS, HTML 5 and data warehousing environments, familiarity with ETL architectures, leveraging multiple sources (including MDM), Oracle databases as well as making enhancements to processes.

The candidate should have a deep understanding of OLTP and OLAP database designs and implementation strategies. This position will also require extensive hands-on experience with reporting platforms leveraging Oracle as a data warehouse.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Primary Skillset - Java, Fuse, Camel, Jboss EAP, CXF, REST, SOAP web services, Angular JS, HTML 5 and experience with data warehousing environments, familiarity with ETL architectures, leveraging multiple sources (including MDM), Oracle databases as well as making enhancements to processes. Experience with Agile. Experience with Maven, GIT/SVN, Jenkins, Rally

Required Skills:

Extensive experience in architecting distributed applications, design, and development is required using Java, Camel, Fuse, Angular JS, HTML 5, Jboss, REST web services.

Experience working with Informatica, Autosys tools is required.

Experience working in Oracle and UNIX environments is required.

Experience in information management, data warehousing and analytics technologies is required.

Experience with analysis, design, and development of data warehouses working with large data repositories and/or relational databases is required.

Ability to communicate and translate business needs into solutions; to communicate orally and in writing with both technical and non-technical personnel; to communicate effectively with developers, DBAs, information security, business analysts, project managers and different business areas; to provide training on new techniques and solving technical problems; and to establish and maintain an efficient technology environment.

Experience with Test Driven Development [TDD] and Behavioral Driven Development [BDD]

Having Healthcare knowledge is an added advantage

Possess good written and oral communication skills. Documenting the design specs, unit test results etc. Team Oriented and can work independently.

Experience in Pre-sales, Architecting proactive solutions, supporting clients with value-adds.

Responsible for leading the delivery teams from end-to-end delivery standpoint.

Agile experience – at least 2+ years

Forward thinking, independent, creative, self-sufficient and go-getter; who can work with less documentation, has exposure testing complex multi-tiered integrated applications.
