We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused IT Leader with deep expertise in P&C Insurance. This role is perfect for someone with a contagious passion for delivering exceptional services and innovative solutions. As the Director of IT Consulting Services, you will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and lead a global team of business analysts, developers, architects, testers, and insurance professionals. Your mission will be to enhance our clients’ operational efficiency, customer experience, and compliance within the P&C insurance domain.

This role is located in Webster, MA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Utilize your extensive experience in portfolio and project management to help clients prioritize and execute IT initiatives.
• Lead and motivate a global IT team, ensuring adherence to best practices in service request management, application maintenance, enhancements, and project management.
• Work directly with P&C business leaders to gather requirements, schedule releases, and manage projects.
• Oversee status reporting for service requests, incident management, application maintenance, enhancements, projects, and SLA performance.
• Lead both Agile and Waterfall projects, ensuring compliance with client and CGI governance standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in insurance-related technologies (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek) and ensure solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on new technologies and trends in the P&C insurance domain to continuously improve IT services and offerings.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Deep knowledge of IT systems in the P&C insurance industry, including personal lines, rate filings, compliance, and statutory reporting.
• Proven experience in service request management, support management, and project management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Familiarity with technologies such as RPG/AS400, Java, and tools like JIRA, Octane, Dynatrace, and ServiceNow.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $137,500.00 - $297,700.00.
