Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Project Management Analyst (PMA) to join our team in our Burlington, MA or Waterville ME office.

The PMA will provide operational assistance and support to the New England business and Project Managers. Specifically, the PMA will support financial operations and help achieve efficiencies with tasks associated with project maintenance, forecasting, revenue recognition, invoicing, A/R maintenance, and SOX compliance. The PMA will also provide ad-hoc reporting and support operational initiatives and tasks as needed.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide financial costing and pricing support for Project Managers in support of sales efforts

  • Support sales process by assisting Project Managers in creation of approval presentation decks.

  • Creation and maintenance of projects in CGI’s project accounting system

  • Timesheet correction to facilitate accurate client invoicing

  • Support project managers invoicing efforts during month end close

  • Monitor and update A/R status

  • Communicate and follow up with Project Managers about specific projects and their goals

  • Generate invoices for clients based on services rendered and in coordination with the Project Manager

  • Prepare written estimates for clients based on labor, software, support and other expenses

  • Follow-up on client/project accounts receivable and accounts payable

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure our construction teams have the materials they need

  • Communicate with Project Managers about AR payment delays and any other issues that must be communicated to clients

  • Ad-hoc operational support

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Skills required for the role:

  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Advanced planning and organization skills

  • Resourceful and intuitive self-starter, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and able to multi-task

  • Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required

  • Experience with Financial Enterprise Accounting System

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in IT Software industry a plus

  • Background in corporate finance/accounting is desirable

  • Experience with PSA 9.2 a plus

Education:

University Bachelor's Degree
