CGI is seeking a Technical Engineer to provide network monitoring and management support services at a Government Agency. Candidate will be part of a team of network security engineers, technical engineers, and security analysts providing support for a large federal agency. Candidate will be responsible for supporting the following tasks:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Review and analyze network performance, on individual locations, utilizing vendor and Government provided network monitoring and management tools.

• Review and analyze provided technical performance reports, as defined for each project, for example, availability, latency, packet loss, etc.

• Review and analyze provided repair & maintenance reports.

• Review and analyze provided service outage & impairment reports.

• Assist the Government in hosting, participating, and providing subject matter expertise in any Government and MSP service performance meetings. Conduct technical, function and feature audits, as directed, and report findings to Government.

• Review monthly MSP reports for accuracy and report findings to Government for the WAN, LAN, Enterprise VoIP and other assigned projects

• Experience providing technical analysis and network monitoring services.

• Experience providing network security analysis expertise.

• Experience troubleshooting technical issues to resolution.

• Experience reviewing and analyzing network performance, service outage reports, and technical performance reports.

• Experience communicating status of issues and resolutions to all levels of management.

• Strong analytic thinking, organization, and communication skills.

• Strong writing skills

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Demonstrated technical engineering experience is required. This individual shall have at least 5 years’ experience successfully participating with similar projects in the public sector. Experience working in IT and WAN/LAN, Voice/VoIP, TIC/MTIPS and/or Cybersecurity Technology experience and IT/Network project experience. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000 - $161,600.
