Position Description:

The Momentum Acquisitions specialist provides hands on support to one of CGI's newest Momentum customers. As a member of a broader team supporting the customer, the Momentum Acquisitions specialist directly engages with the customer's acquisitions management office and provides systems and business process support. The Momentum acquisitions specialist represents CGI as the front line of customer engagement with broad support from multiple teams supporting the product and system.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  1. Promote knowledge sharing, growth and team development by supporting other members in a collaborative environment.

  2. Provide direct, hands on, in person support to government contract specialists, contracting officers, managers and others users.

  3. Troubleshoot issues, communicate resolutions.

  4. Coordinate and communicate with transactions processing, help desk, production support and technical teams supporting the system.

  5. Be the customer's local subject matter expert on Momentum Acquisitions. Disseminate knowledge and expertise throughout the acquisitions management office.

  6. Document, maintain and update procedure guides and quick reference guides germane to the system.

  7. Identify, recommend, and champion business process or system improvements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Strong Momentum Acquisitions knowledge & experience (1 year minimum)

Knowledge of Federal procurement processes and practices

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong Communication Skills (Written and verbal)

Strong Organizational Skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Strong analytical skills

Creative problem solving and solution development
