Position Description:

CGI Federal has an immediate opening for an Integration/Cyber Engineer to provide subject matter expertise on planning and execution of platform cybersecurity and electronics integration for a NAVSEA Program Office.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to the System Integration Team Lead and Non Propulsion Electronics Systems Chief Engineer in efforts to complete the design and integration of various Submarine Systems.

• Facilitate timely decisions in the review and adjudication of all design products and written correspondence by the appropriate NAVSEA technical stakeholders, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), UK, NAVY Field Activities in accordance with Ship Specifications to meet commitment completion dates.

• Represent the Program Offices in NAVSEA Integration forums.

• Interface with stakeholders to generate letters and packages for official release.

• Establish and manage Integration commitments. Track and report status of commitments.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of related experience.

• Experience with U.S. Navy Submarine Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C4I) systems

• Ability to successfully complete the CGI Federal Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks for continued employment.

• Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong Microsoft Programs skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Technical expertise in cybersecurity engineering as it relates to design, deployment, integration, testing and implementation on/for Navy systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics field and 10 years of related operational experience with equivalent technical training, OR, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) (any level) certification in Information Technology, Test and Evaluation or Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering desired.

• Working knowledge of the NAVSEA acquisition process.

• Experience with U.S. Navy Submarine Combat Control and Sonar systems.
