CGI is seeking a senior functional resource to support the Procurement Staff at a Government Agency in operation and management of their Momentum procurement solution. This position provides the opportunity to:
Engage with senior managers from the procurement and policy groups to translate federal acquisition regulation into easy to follow system functionality
Work in a comfortable downtown office environment, with a reliable and structured schedule
Gain exposure to all parts of the procure to pay process, from budgeting to payment
Leverage industry knowledge of federal acquisitions and systems knowledge of ERP acquisitions systems to assist the client identify problems/areas for improvement, propose solutions, and implement those solutions effectively.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The individual will be involved in a variety of functional and business process tasks to meet the client objectives. This may include:
Analyzing current business processes and system functionality to determine the best methods for meeting procurement objectives
Reviewing current and proposed federal acquisition regulations, as well as OMB and Agency Policies, and evaluating their potential impact on the Agency's business processes and system functionality
Creating documentation, written policies, and standard operating procedures for distribution to all individuals involved in the acquisition process
Leading group training for, and answering questions from, individuals involved in the acquisition process
Testing system functionality and troubleshooting system errors
Providing desk side support to users as they complete work in Momentum
Organizing meetings of system stakeholders to solicit feedback on the system and business processes in use, capturing detailed meeting minutes, and leading follow up on resulting decisions and action items
Additional tasks as necessary to meet customer objectives
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Strong familiarity with the organizations, roles, and systems involved in the federal acquisitions process
Significant experience in implementation and support of a federal Contract Writing System (CWS) (Momentum preferred), and an understanding of the configuration of business rules within such a system
Strong analytic thinking skills
Excellent writing skills, with experience creating well structured, concise written material that communicates nuanced ideas to a general audience
Experience with developing announcements, meeting agendas, minutes, and presentation materials
Experience training novice/new users on a federal Contract Writing System (CWS) (Momentum preferred)
Experience and comfort facilitating meetings, training sessions, and group presentations
Comfort presenting to senior leadership
Familiarity with basic data filetering, sorting, and reporting within Excel or similar spreadsheet applications
Demonstrated skills in the development/execution of SOPs, QRGs and step-by-steps using a Contract Writing System or Financial System
Proficient in testing and documentation of Contract Writing System or Financial System functionality
Demonstrated Experience in CGI's Momentum ERP solution preferred
Knowledge of Integrated Award Environment (IAE) systems and related interfaces (specifically FPDS-NG)
Prior experience working on automated data migration efforts
Knowledge of SQL
