Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Agile Scrum Master to deliver and grow in key account areas. The candidate selected for this position will have excellent leadership and management skills, and experience leading and developing project teams. The ideal candidate can think on their feet, proactively identify and address client challenges, and bring innovative ideas to their projects.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Scrum Master certification.

8 years of relevant experiences in Telecom industry.

• Implementing, facilitating and enabling the Scrum process at the team level.

• Providing Agile project management for medium sized teams / squads and large numbers of contributors / stakeholders.

• Working with the team to develop project plans, roadmaps and manage backlog. Communicate team plans, report impediments for escalation, identify risks/concerns to relevant stakeholders to help resolve.

• Leading Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily scrum calls, retrospectives, etc.)

• Leading negotiations with development teams, product owners and business analysts around requirement, story, epic/feature scope and technical deliverable

• Resource assignment, technical guidance, task reassignment, and sprint progress reporting.

• Working with development teams to produce measurable efficiency gains, increased throughput, defect reduction and system stability

• Collaborating with client product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

• Monitoring team backlog daily and ensuring it accurately reflects the current state of the sprint.

• Tracking and communicating team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Proven ability working with JIRA and Confluence.

• Familiarity working across scrum teams for a 24x7 system operating in a DevOps model.

EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. Years of experience: over 8 years current relevant experience in telecommunications related industry
