Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Business Rule System Analyst to join our financial services team in one of our selected CGI locations. Due to the current COVID-19 status, candidates will not be required to work within the physical work location at this time. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, they will be required to be located within the proximity of the assigned CGI location.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Using structured methodology, analyze business requirements and develop solution specifications for high-availability, high performance business rules management system (BRMS) projects.

• Perform domain analysis and identify appropriate categorization for organizing, cataloging and harvesting shared business rules for storing in a common rule repository.

• Evaluate alternative designs and recommend optimal solutions.

• Perform data research and analysis at various stages of the project as needed to support business and technical staff with the development of new system features and functions.

• Review and/or contribute content to design and test documentation.

• Contribute to application test plans and evaluate test results to support development and test staff.

• Participate in meetings with business and product management staff, enterprise and/or application architects, business rules management system developers and project managers for business rule application project planning.​

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience

• 6+ years of experience in the application of business rules technology

• 5+ yrs of experience with ILOG JRules, Rule Team Server, Rule Flows etc. or equivalent business rules management product

• 4+ years of experience in performing systems analysis for business rules applications

• 5+ years of experience in performing systems analysis for large scale, complex applications with high-performance needs

• 4+ years of experience with IBM Rational DOORS, IBM Rational Requisite Pro or equivalent requirements management tool

• Excellent communication skills

Desired qualifications

​• Knowledge of the US Residential Mortgage Industry is a plus

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

​Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent required ​​​
