Position Description:
The candidate for this position can sit within 300 miles from Southfield, MI. There would be expected travel to Southfield one week each month to our client site.
CGI is seeking a Planisware Architect/Developer to design and oversee the implementation of customized Planisware solutions for our client's product management and project portfolio management processes. The candidate will act as a technical leader, working closely with stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize the platform to align with the company’s business objectives.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of a customized Planisware solution to address Lear’s specific product management challenges.
• Strategic Alignment: Work with product management and IT leadership to align Planisware functionality with business strategies and project goals.
• Customization Framework: Define best practices and frameworks for customizing Planisware to meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Integration Strategy: Develop and implement integration strategies to connect Planisware with other enterprise systems.
• Governance & Best Practices: Establish governance around Planisware usage, ensuring the platform is optimized for scalability, security, and performance.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, ensuring efficient use of resources, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project timelines, goals, and outcomes.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3-5 years focused on Planisware architecture and customization.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying Planisware for large-scale organizations, particularly in product or project management.
• Deep understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and project portfolio management (PPM) principles.
• Expertise in Planisware Studio and Enterprise.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL) and integration tools (e.g., APIs).
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture and software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with large-scale system integrations and data migrations.
- Ability to independently work with very little supervision. Inclination and desire to reach out
to the greater CGI organization to meet and satisfy client requirements.
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800 - $190,100.
