Position Description:

The candidate for this position can sit within 300 miles from Southfield, MI. There would be expected travel to Southfield one week each month to our client site.

CGI is seeking a highly skilled Planisware Developer & QA/Process Improvement Specialist to help customize and implement Planisware solutions for Lear Product Management. The ideal candidate will have experience in Planisware configuration, customization, and integration within the context of product lifecycle and project management processes. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that enhance project efficiency and visibility.

The candidate will also be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the testing strategies to ensure the successful delivery of a highly customized Planisware solution tailored for product management processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in quality assurance, particularly in Planisware or similar project portfolio management systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Customization & Configuration: Develop and customize Planisware modules and workflows to meet Lear’s specific product management requirements.

• System Integration: Integrate Planisware with existing enterprise systems (ERP, Enterprise Systems etc.), ensuring seamless data flow and reporting.

• Workflows & Automation: Design and implement automated workflows that align with product management and project lifecycle processes at Lear.

• Reporting & Analytics: Develop and enhance custom dashboards, reports, and KPIs to provide insights into product and project performance.

• User Support & Training: Assist in the development of user documentation, provide training, and offer support to stakeholders using the platform.

• Testing & Validation: Perform system testing, bug fixing, and continuous improvement of Planisware functionalities

• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation of all customizations and integrations performed.

• Customization & Configuration: Develop and customize Planisware modules and workflows to meet Lear’s specific product management requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 3+ years of experience in Planisware development and customization.

• Prior experience in configuring Planisware for product management, project management, or similar fields.

• Strong expertise in Planisware Studio and Planisware Enterprise.

• Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, and XML for customization purposes.

• Familiarity with project and portfolio management (PPM) processes.

• Experience with integration tools and APIs. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• End to End Testing

• Implementing software release quality gates

• Automated Testing tools and processes

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to independently work with very little supervision. Inclination and desire to reach out to the greater CGI organization to meet and satisfy client requirements.

• Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.

• Prior experience in customizing Planisware for product management functions.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $150,200.
