Position Description:

SDCERS is seeking a Senior Level Documentum Developer with a strong Java Development background who has the desire and ability to learn and support the Agency's technologies. Candidates must be motivated problem solvers with the ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to develop and manage technical activities from inception thru implementation and support.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and transform them into technology solutions

  • Lead development efforts with ability to reach out to subject manager and technical experts as needed

  • Administer Application technologies

  • Monitor and administer batch jobs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 4+ years of Java development experience (J2EE, etc.)

• JavaScript

• Document Management or ECM tools development specifically utilizing:

  • Documentum: administer all environments of our enterprise content management platform. Includes monitoring server event logs on a daily basis, addressing any system issues, keeping the environment up to date with releases, addressing end user issues, and integrations with other solutions.

• Batch Schedulers: administer production batch scheduling. Includes monitoring scheduled jobs, creating new scripts as needed, and modifying current scripts as requested.

• Report Services: ability to develop and schedule reports as requested using SQL Server Reporting Services.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• C# .Net experience

• SDLC Business Analysis Experience

• Previous testing experience including writing and executing manual test scripts

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• SSRS for reports

  • Kofax scanning: administer all environments of our enterprise content management platform. Includes monitoring server event logs on a daily basis, keeping the environment up to date with releases, addressing end user issues, and integrations with other solutions.

• SharePoint: administer the environment hosting our intranet sites. Keeping the environments up to date and address end user issues as they are reported.
