Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Senior ERP Financial Business Analyst (CPA preferred) to join our team in the Sacramento CA / Northern Nevada region!

You will be helping with the rollout of our 'CGI Advantage - ERP system' for our client. This is our largest ERP Implementation project in the Northwest area!

Hybrid schedule will be considered. Travel will be more during beginning of project, but must be willing to travel to our client location throughout the project on part time basis.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact

• Identifying customer objectives and their business needs

• Analyzing sophisticated business and system functional and non-functional requirements

• Defining scope and business priorities, as well as change initiatives

• Leading a team to manage financial requirements of a sophisticated project

• Planning and leading fit gap of current processes to future designed processes, and sessions to analyze financial business requirements to determine functional solutions

• Planning and managing resources to build functional design documents and other functional project deliverables

• Finding and resolving inconsistencies

• Identifying acceptance tests and scope

• Managing requests for the application of changes to baseline requirements

• Conducting sophisticated modelling activities

• Developing, interpreting, documenting, and implementing financial and business concepts/designs for functionality to support client’s business requirements

• Testing and resolving financial functional issues while providing functional support to the project team

• Collaborating with clients independently to prepare participants for meeting sessions and to answer questions regarding their business functions as it relates to Advantage ERP Financials

• Directing and supervising compliance efforts with the preparation, review, submission, and distribution financial reports required by governmental and regulatory agencies

• Ensuring data integrity and accurate accounting with auditors who support the review and audit of regulatory filings

• Identify and communicate issues in a timely manner

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring

• Ability to lead, coordinate and perform the functional task related to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Ability to plan and coordinate enterprise-wide systems (such as Oracle, SAP, Baan, Peoplesoft, etc.) in financial functional areas

• Ability to translate the business case analysis and client requirements into design documents

• Ability to coordinate and lead peer review sessions

• Experience on ERP implementation projects

• Highly self-motivated

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a virtual team environment, as well as travel 25-50% of the time

• Bachelor's degree

Years of experience in the following:

ERP Implementations - 3Sr Financial System Analysis - 5Management consulting - 4Financial Background (budget, AP, AR, Cash Management, Cost Accounting, etc.) - 3Information and Business Process Modeling - 3Requirements Engineering - 3DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred (even if an expired CPA or about to obtain a CPA)

• IIBA CCBA Certification

• IIBA CBAP Certification

• IREB Foundation, IREB Advanced (Elicitation, Process Modeling, Requirement Management, Agile)

• BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or Accounting

• Experience with User Centered Design

• Team oriented

• Clear verbal and written communication skills

• Customer service oriented

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $66,300 - $146,900.
