Position Description:

The person who fills this position will be joining a dynamic team with a local Sacramento client to implement and integrate a customer relationship and case management solution. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the country implementing similar projects and have a mentor to gain experience on CGI’s Delivery excellence in our project processes and methodologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

•The Project Scheduler shall have at least five (5) years of experience within the past fifteen (15) years, leading or managing highly complex integrated master schedules and work plans using industry best practices and standards (e.g., Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Project Management Body of Knowledge, and/or Software Engineering Institute).

•Must have at least five (5) years of experience, leading or managing integrated and detailed work plans, using project management techniques (e.g., Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and other best practices) to document different levels of progress within customized reports.

•Must have at least five (5) years of experience using Microsoft Project 2010 or a later version to plan, develop, maintain, revise and report on highly complex integrated master schedules and work plans on projects involving large and complex IT.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

 5years experience in scheduling in IT projects with the following characteristics:

o At least two IT projects with 25+ direct or indirect team members

o At least two projects that integrate team schedules into a master schedule

o At least one project where Expert level skill in Microsoft XL including Macro development

 Experience and Training that demonstrates:

o Proficiency in Visual Basic programming for MS Office

o Understanding of waterfall SDLC methodologies

o Understanding of PMI PMBOK
