CGI is seeking a Financial/Contracts Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced client interactive support and implementation team.
If you are someone who can learn while executing, extremely organized, operates independently, experience monitoring/tracking financials/contract administration -- then this might be the role for you.
Seeking an individual with a keen interest overseeing a large, complex account, customer relations, and contract management!
As a member of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will oversee the project contract, invoicing, financial tracking, and vendor management activities working closely with the Project Director, Financial Analyst and PMO Manager.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
o Monitor and administer the Contract and any amendments
o Preparing, tracking, and submitting invoices to the Project Office for review, approval, and payment
o Managing and tracking of project Contract costs
o Perform contract research when required
o Coordinate with client contract management and CGI contract management for amendments and issues that arise
o Maintain contract documentation in CGI repository
- Contract amendments, formal/written communication with client, approved deliverables, approved change request (CRs), completed CRs, client invoices, invoices received for HW/SW, invoices received from subcontractors, subcontract amendments
o Prepare and submit invoices submitted to client
o Prepare invoice supporting documentation
o Coordinate with Project Director and Leads to review invoices in their area and address any discrepancies
o Maintain Invoice Schedule for fixed price and CRs
o Maintain Invoice Payment Tracker, coordinate with client for overdue items, and provide status to Project Director and Financial Analyst
Prepare Client Monthly Status Report
Prepare Client Quarterly Status Report
o Coordinate and review financial sections of CRs
o Maintain Billing Staff Master and Bill Rates Master spreadsheets
o Coordinate establishment of project/activity codes for CRs including coordinating and informing staff of project/activity assignments and informing Financial Analyst of related bill rates
o Coordinate with subcontract contract management and CGI contract management for amendments and issues that arise
o Validate 3rd party vendor and subcontractor invoices
o Coordinate with Team Leads to validate invoices
o Coordinate payment of subcontractor invoices
o Review P.O. balances and coordinate establishment of P.O.’s
o Maintain subcontractor invoice tracker
Invoices for HW/SW
o Coordinate with Leads to validate HW/SW vendor/subcontractor invoices
o Coordinate payment of HW/SW invoices
o Review P.O. balances and coordinate establishment of P.O.’s
o Maintain HW/SW invoice tracker and coordinate with Ops monthly on upcoming activity
As needed, support Project Management Office to resolve issues/disputes with the customer working with the CGI Project Director.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• At least three (3) years of experience within the past fifteen (15) years, managing and tracking project Contract costs on projects of the following:
o Software Development projects
o Involved systems that were accessed by at least one thousand (1,000) end users at
o Had a system value of at least ten million ($10,000,000) dollars
• Experience supporting external account / customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand & analyze an issue or problem to develop & implement a corrective action plan.
• Excellent Analytical skills
Skill Set/Years of Experience:
Managing contracts: 3 to 5 years of experience
Supporting customer relationships: 4 to 8 years of experience
Managing and tracking project costs: 3 to 5 years of experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
• Experience delivering managed/outsourced IT services
• Experience working with state government agencies
• Knowledge of Industry Sector (Social Services)
Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $107K-$135K*
