CGI Federal is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to support a contract we have in the affordable housing space. This would be a great opportunity for someone to grow their career in this area, work directly with the client, and act as our subject matter expert across multiple projects. We are open to a remote worker anywhere in the US.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the daily supervision of assigned projects. Ensures all client deliverables are met on time and with in budget. Tracks hours assigned to the project versus budgeted hours. Responsible for developing work plans to ensure all deliverables are met. Train and provide written procedures for all team members. Provide weekly written status reports to client and management. Monitors project expenses. Must achieve CSAP of 9.4 or greater. Conduct weekly meetings with client. Ensures a high quality assurance level to minimize risk. Conduct business development tasks to increase contract opportunities, assist in the development of proposal writing and content, ability to present as a subject matter expert at industry conferences. Assist with other projects as assigned. Ability to manage a team of people and/or work independently.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Knowledge of Affordable Housing along with a broad understanding of the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Effective Supervision and Project Management Skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to motivate and provide performance feedback and evaluations to team assigned.
Knowledge of HUD regulations along with Housing Quality Standard inspections, Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP), income calculation for Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing Programs and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, and other processes in the affordable housing programs and experience in affordable housing. Affordable Housing certifications a plus.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
