CGI is looking or a MS Dynamics 365 Project manager in Richmond VA.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of implementation of MS Dynamics 365 in different locations.
Would prefer local candidate to Richmond, VA with some travel to Owensboro, KY. However, will entertain travelers willing to do 75% travel.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities including time and resource management, scope management, client expectation setting and management, issue and risk management, and project execution.
The Project Manager is expected to plan, direct, and monitor the work produced by the CGI and client team(s).
He or she is owns managing the client relationships as it pertains to the delivery of CGI services, including general, ongoing communications, negotiation of scope and schedule changes, key risks, issue resolution, and ongoing progress reporting.
The Project Manager must have MS Dynamics ERP experience and a knowledge of industry best practices, embodied in PMIs Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-- 7 - 10 years prior project management of ERP implementation system.
--CGI requires Project Managers to have the skills and experience to manage the entire lifecycle of a project, from inception through successful delivery and closeout.
-- Completion of at least 1 full scope implementation within AX2012R3/Dyn365FO, preferable with focus on manufacturing and distribution.
--Experience managing IT projects $10 million in revenue and 30 staff members.
--Experience with public sector implementation projects.
--Experience negotiating contractual documents and maintaining changes to the terms and conditions of those documents, especially as it relates to project deliverables.
--Demonstrated experience leading a project towards target financial goals, including setting and achieving DCM, payment schedules, holdbacks, travel costs, timely invoicing and customer payments. Experience with forecasting and variance analysis also required. Basic understanding of NPV analysis preferred.
--Strong leadership skills. Excellent leadership and team development skills (to include coaching and mentoring), with the ability to motivate and lead while adapting leadership style to a variety of situations.
--Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills. The ability to communicate effectively with customer and CGI stakeholders at all levels and work through tough issues with customers, CGI team members, and/or subcontractors, partners, or third party vendors.
Essential Skills Required:
Experience with MS Dynamics 365
Have strong problem solving, analytical skills and communication skills
Experience collecting, verifying and managing requirements and writing status reports.
Experience creating and managing multi-dimensional project work plans with an adaptive resourcing model to deliver to a varied priority delivery model.
Experience tracking issues to resolution and ensuring that they are mitigated.
Knowledge of project management software (i.e., MS Project).
Knowledge of project budgeting / accounting and related financial reporting
Undergraduate degree in Business, IT, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline required, Graduate Degree preferred. PMI certification desirable.
Behave in an ethical and professional manner
Handle the pressures of simultaneous tasks, issues, problems, and ambiguity
Be flexible as to behavior or work methods in response to changes or new obstacles on a project
Travel: Ability to travel 75% (Richmond, VA, Owensboro, KY)
