Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Sr. Talend Developer (PySpark) to join our financial services team in Reston, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

We are ​starting a high visibility Strategic initiative named Capital Management. This requires a new build with Talend & AWS. This is a long term initiative. Experienced resources should be able to deploy the talend code on spark,


Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field​​

AWS certification desired

Your future duties and responsibilities:

One of the main requirements is an excellent understanding of Big Data concepts to design a system that can process large volumes of data efficiently. The main technologies are Big Data, Talend, Pyspark and AWS.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 8+ years of IT Experience

• Hands on technical experience in Talend and Py spark

• Hands on experience working on AWS cloud technologies ( S3, Lambda)

• Expert knowledge of Big Data technologies & concepts for large volume data processing

• ​Hands-on in deploying talend code on spark.
