CGI has an immediate need for an Enterprise Monitoring Production Support to join our team. Your future duties and responsibilities:

CGI is seeking a Senior Production Support Analyst with in-depth enterprise monitoring support experience in a Netcool, site scope, ITM etc. This role will be directly involved in providing day to day production support for multiple mission critical enterprise monitoring tools in production. This role will also include Pre-Implementation analysis and guidance for new applications going into production. Candidate should have a solid background in providing production support, so they have a good understanding of the requirements. Should be open to nights and weekend rotation.​

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience

· Experience with ENGINEERING and IMPLEMENTATION of monitoring agents such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Catchpoint, Sitescope, and Extrahop on Solaris, Linux and Windows machines.

· Experience creating dashboards and reports in Splunk and Tableau.

· Experience in L2 production support services, handling Incident and change management.

· Extensive knowledge in bash scripting and python programing to automate monitoring provisioning processes

· Experience in performance engineering tools – Monitoring tools, Performance testing tools and Analysis tools

Experienced in setting up server monitoring infrastructure, analyzing requirements, engineering and deploying projects on Solaris, Linux and Windows machines

• Expertise with the monitoring tools to onboard applications with these monitoring tools in production

• Work with development team to recommend monitoring standards and best practices

• Ability to trouble short alerting mechanism in case of failures.

• Needs to have excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, strong communication abilities and be detail oriented.

• Needs to be knowledgeable in their organization’s procedures, processes, and standards, understand the software development lifecycle, and have experience using relevant IT tools and technologies.

Educational Requirements

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $53,100.00 - $130,600.00.
