Position Description:


The Business Analyst will lead Tech Remediation workstream, meaning the BA is expected to have some project management skills as well as business analysis expertise. Initial activities will be to assess the current OS estate for global QC Lab and Manufacturing Systems across global sites and identify systems currently using Windows7 (and similar) OSs. After initial data gathering, the resource will interface with system owners and/or vendors across sites to better understand the remediation needed to be done on a system-by-system basis. Once costs and path forward are established, the resource would transition to executing the remediation effort.

He or she should minimally have 5-7 years of experience in the Life Sciences (5-7 years of Life Sciences BA experience, and should have 3-5 years of managing projects or leading workstreams). The BA is expected to be familiar with systems and equipment used in Life Sciences QC Labs and on the Manufacturing shop floor. The individual should be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, and have the ability to work with a diverse, global team.



• Lead analysis of technical current state across global QC and Manufacturing sites

• Document results of analysis

• Work with site contacts and vendors to solution for remediation to current state challenges

• Document result of remediation solutioning

• Lead estimation of cost and level of effort to implement remediation of current state

• Lead implementation of remediation effort



• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline)

• Strong technical proficiency and knowledge of lab/manufacturing systems

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organized

• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence

• Ability to analyze, articulate and solve problems

• Ability to learn quickly, move with agility between assignments, multi-task, and to work effectively in a team environment, both face-to-face and remotely

• Ability to support projects from inception to successful implementation

• Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions, as well as documenting them and presenting/selling them to senior management
