Position Description:

​CGI has an immediate need for a Business Analyst to join our financial services team in Plano, TX. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Working as a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for creating requirements, use cases, and design documents. Requirements and designs should follow project standards and articulate the solution on an appropriate level. The business analyst will also provide client walkthrough of design documents, when requested, and work with the team to address review comments. In addition to requirements, the business analyst will participate in all phases of functional testing.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Prior experience in the Secondary Mortgage Industry

• Strong experience with business process analysis, data mapping and analysis, and requirements gathering, elaboration, and documentation.

• Strong experience in documenting test scripts and performing UAT.

• Demonstrated experience with stakeholders/SMEs engagement to understand needs and translate them into requirements.

• Ability to effectively and proactively manage priorities, timelines, and key deadlines.

• Prior experience with Scrum methodology.

• Demonstrated experience with SQL, Excel, and XML to perform data analysis and mapping.

Desired qualifications

• Prior experience with JIRA is preferred.
