Position Description:

CGI is looking for a Sr. Web Applications User Interface Developer with 7+ years of experience in Web User Interface development and frameworks to join a project at one of our clients in the Pittsburgh area.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Reviews design documents and provides feedback on approach and estimates

• Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.

• Ensures that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.

• Works closely with UI/UX designer to implement designs and usability features.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript including ES6/7/8 and Typescript

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Angular 2+, React preferred)

• Strong knowledge of large application structure and architecture, reusable components and component lifecycle events in the context of specific frameworks

• Ability to understand and organize large JSON data structures

• Strong knowledge of build tools and their place inside of a toolchain including Webpack and framework-specific build processes

• Expert knowledge of HTML (modern HTML 5 apis) & CSS (SASS perferred or LESS).

• Strong knowledge of RESTful web services

• Excellent communication

• Excellent leadership skills and able to drive solution

• Willing to work and coordinate with client team for solution delivery

• (May vary with covid) Ability to work on client site 3 days per 2 weeks preferred

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $80K-$125K*
