Position Description:

CGI is currently looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Human Centered Design Practice. If you are an exceptional product design leader who wants to be at the forefront of creating engaging user experiences that transform complex tasks into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use interactions, this could be the role for you.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Some of the things you’ll do as a Senior Product Designer are:

• Apply Human Centered Design methods to understand and visualize information

• Plan and facilitate user sessions and workshops, working visually in real-time

• Create compelling and cohesive user interface designs and produce deliverables that tell the design story

• Work collaboratively with other designers, developers, solution architects, and project managers throughout the software build process

• Lead client projects from managing client expectations to ensuring successful delivery

• Lead the design, execution, and analysis of user research

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• A bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent combination of education and experience

• An expert understanding of visual design principles and proficiency with common design tools

• Strong, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills

• A willingness to both lead and participate in the day-to-day design work

• A desire to take ownership of moving work forward

• Comfort with whiteboarding

• Up to date on trends, including rapid prototyping and designing component-based systems

• Experience in a consultative role

• A fundamental understanding of front-end development and product management and how they intersect with design

• A desire to learn from feedback, grow from new experiences, and mentor others

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $75K-$120K*

*Disclaimer: In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, effective January 1, 2021, a good faith hourly or base salary range must be posted for all positions where the work may be performed in the state of Colorado. Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
