Position Description:

Handle multiple Agile teams as a scrum master in a highly competitive and high visibility environment where the skills will be utilized extensively with a chance to enhance skills across spectrums. The role may also require this individual to step in as a Product Owner from time to time.

This team is highly-skilled, dynamic, and supportive of one another – great team to work with. The projects are fast paced, use new and innovative technologies or methodologies to build new products or for new initiatives.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

o Act as a leader to our software development teams

o Have thorough understanding and practical application/experience with a variety of agile and waterfall methodologies and the ability to adapt/adopt techniques from each to meet the needs of the projects/initiatives. This includes experience transitioning existing teams from waterfall to agile methodology.

o Provide leadership to delivery teams to ensure projects are on track with high stakeholder satisfaction.

o Oversee design, implementation, QA, and validation of programming code and products

o Help team set realistic objectives for Feature and Sprint delivery timeframes

o Shape team behavior through excellent management via the agile method

o Keeps external stakeholders, collaborators, and other interested parties are well-informed on team progress and activities.

o Remove blockers and impediments for team

o Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners

o Document progress and communicate to upper management and stakeholders

o Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed

o Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing, this may include creating custom reports and status deliverables to stakeholders.

o When necessary, become the SME or Product owner in refining stories or clarifying requirements for development and testing teams.

o Required Skills – SAFe Certified Scrum Master, Technical background is a plus

o Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor team members in Agile Methodologies

o Minimum of 4 years’ experience implementing Agile methodologies

o Minimum 3 years or experience as acting Scrum Master

o References from product owner, team member, and another stakeholder.

o Creative ability to solve problems.

o Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken are a must
