We are hiring a Java Developer with 5+ years’ of hands-on experience developing applications in Java, UI, Angular JS JEE/J2EE, Open Source Framework, PL/SQL, Restful, Spring, MVC, Strut etc.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software.

• Ensures that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

General

• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams and in an Agile environment.

• Proactive; willing to take ownership and drive outcomes

• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in Java/J2EE UI and backend development work

• Java SE, Java Enterprise Edition 7 (J2EE/Java EE) , AngularJS

• Servlet/JSP, JSON/XML, JAX-RPC/JAX-WS, JPA/JDBC, EJB

• Struts, Spring MVC, Spring Security

• Development: Multi-Tiered and/or Service-oriented Architecture

• Design: Object-Oriented Design, Coding Best Practices (DRY, Dependency Injection, etc..)

• Testing and Tools: Eclipse, Git, Log4J, etc. (2+ years)

• Experience with relational database design and development with Oracle

• Experience in software design, development, and testing of web-based software applications

Nice to Have:

• SOA experience

• Security-minded Software Development

• Understanding of Java EE Containers – Web and EJB

• IBM WebSphere

• Spring Framework (Configuration, MVC, Boot)

• Web Frameworks and/or Web Services

• SQL Database

Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
