Position Description:

CGI’s GLBU is actively seeking a Transformation Consultant with extensive product management, program management, and/or agile coaching experience. We are actively searching candidates who have a hunger to help drive growth with a self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset. Successful candidates must have solid experience in facilitating product management, technical program management and/or agile software development teams, especially with Scrum/kanban/SAFe as the development framework. Candidates must be comfortable working with both teams and management stakeholders, and have high-level facilitation skills to be utilized in a mentoring, training and/or professional coaching capacity.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct organizational assessments and provide recommendations for implementation Agile and Lean methods at scale

• Provide introductory and advanced Agile/Lean/Scrum training to customer teams and guidance on Agile best practices to the overall project team.

• Collaborate with the customer to define transformation objectives and roadmap

• Communicate with clients effectively to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions

• Provide executive level coaching in Agile techniques and culture

• Facilitate effective internal/external team collaboration and generate enthusiasm among team members and other Agile Coaches

• Must be willing to perform up to 50% combination of in and out of state travel

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Clearly identify the essential qualification vs the desired qualifications. What skills/experience must this person have to be considered?

• 3-5 + years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle, project management and/or related field

• Demonstrated experience coaching Agile/Lean teams and/or experience in a digital transformation capacity

• Previous coaching or consulting at the middle management or senior Management level

• Prior experience managing the full life-cycle of software development projects, including managing the planning, executing, tracking and managing costs, schedule and scope

• Excellent leadership skills in change management

• Demonstrated coaching or consulting skills, especially at the senior or executive management level

• Teaching and facilitation skills to lead Agile topics in a classroom and workshop settings

• In depth understanding on the full life-cycle of software development projects, including managing the planning, executing, tracking and managing costs, schedule and scope

• Excellent public speaking and workshop facilitation skills

Technical knowledge in of the following:

• Agile/Lean

• Scrum/Kanban

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Application development/Test Driven Development/Continuous Integration

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences, Business or relevant discipline, Master’s Degree preferred.

• Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner

• Scaled Agile Program Consultant (SPC) certification preferred
