Position Description:

CGI, a top five global consulting organization, is seeking an Onshore Mainframe Lead to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This person will work on a 3 person CGI team with 1 onshore and 2 offshore, that will be a part of a larger team consisting of full time employees of the client.

Technical skills needed are Mainframe development, Cobol, CICS, DB2, and SAS. A large amount of hands-on mainframe development experience is required. Familiarity of the other technologies mentioned is required, but not a large amount of hands-on experience. Candidate must have the capability to adapt and learn new concepts quickly, lead offshore team, and collaborate closely with the onshore team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Mainframe development and support, client interaction, offshore leadership

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Ability to think independently, work and communicate with others at all levels, and make progress efficiently. Hands-on mainframe development experience is required. Familiarity and some experience with Cobol, CICS, DB2, and SAS is required.

5+ years of experience with Offshore leadership and strong customer facing communication.

Tech Stack:

• Mainframe development: 10+ years (Proficient)

• Cobol: 5+ years (Proficient)

• DB2 , CICS, SAS 2+ years (Familiar)

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
