Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a candidate to support development and updating of technical drawings adhering to applicable military and industry standards. This position requires experience using CAD drafting software to include 3D modeling software.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Review Engineering Drawings and other Technical documentation for compliance with applicable standards

• Document drawing deficiencies and effectively communicate requirements to customers as necessary

• Develop and update military technical drawings using applicable military and industry standards

• Develop and/or update technical drawings using AutoCAD and Microstation

• Develop 3D model files from 2D documentation and/or actual equipment

• Produce accurate and compliant 2D documentation from 3D model files.

• Communicate with customers and coworkers to resolve issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience using 2D and 3D CAD drafting software such as Microstation, Autocad, ProE (Creo), Inventor, or Solidworks

• Familiarity with military and industry standards to include ASME-Y14.5, ASME Y14.24, ASME Y14.34, ASME Y14.35, ASME Y14.100 and MIL-STD-31000.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Detail oriented

• Ability to obtain DoD SECRET security clearance; US Citizenship required

Due to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,000 to $140,000.
