Position Description:

As we embark on a large-scale implementation for a leading Utility Client serving the Eastern region, we’re seeking a passionate Training Lead to join our team.

This is a Full Time, hybrid role requiring you to be on-site 3 days per week and is based in New York, NY.

As the Training Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our utility field crews. You’ll lead a team responsible for creating engaging online learning courses and job aids, utilizing CGI’s intellectual property. Working closely with industry experts at CGI and client subject matter experts (SMEs), you’ll ensure seamless training delivery and project success.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage a small team of functional experts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Content Development: Develop and review online simulations, eLearning courses, and job aids tailored to end users’ needs.

Client Engagement: Cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring project success and laying the groundwork for future business development.

Stakeholder Management: Regularly meet with CGI and client stakeholders to assess and fine-tune the project training program.

Status Reporting: Keep CGI leadership informed of progress, promptly escalating any critical issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Adult Learning Experience: You bring 7+ years of experience in designing and delivering effective adult learning programs.

Online Simulations: With 5+ years of experience, you’ve mastered the art of creating engaging online simulations.

Mentoring Skills: You’ve spent 3+ years mentoring junior team members, nurturing their growth.

Adobe Captivate: Proficiency with 2+ years of experience using Adobe Captivate for course development.

Desired Qualifications

Collaborative Environment: You’ve thrived in collaborative settings for 5+ years.

Utilities Industry: Familiarity with the utilities sector, ideally 3+ years of experience.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $66,700 - $142,400
