Our role can be performed from NYC, NY; Hartford, CT; New Brunswick, NJ; Cary, NC; or Plymouth Meeting, PA. in a Hybrid Model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As an Experienced Life/Annuity Business Analyst, your future duties and responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing and Improving Life Insurance Processes: Lead the assessment and enhancement of key value stream areas such as New Business Intake, Underwriting, In-force Servicing, Claims, Billing & Payments, and Producer Management, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

• Developing and Implementing Solutions: Utilize your expertise in process modeling and rationalization to design and implement improvements across diverse Life/Annuity products, working with various carriers and coordinating across operations and IT areas.

• Collaborating with Stakeholders: Facilitate sessions, workshops, and interviews with key business stakeholders, including C-level executives, to gather requirements, prioritize needs, and present findings and recommendations through comprehensive reports and presentations.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on US Life/Annuity projects.

• Demonstrated expertise in key Life Insurance value streams including New Business Intake, Underwriting, In-force Servicing (both non-financial and financial changes), Claims, Billing & Payments, and Producer Management.

• Proven experience with a diverse range of Life/Annuity products, including at least three of the following: Traditional Term Life, Whole Life (Universal, Variable, Indexed), and Annuities (Fixed, Variable, Structured Settlements).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in process modeling using Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools and general tools such as Visio.

• Strong ability to conduct process rationalization and consolidation.

• Expertise in applying consulting techniques such as facilitation sessions, prioritization workshops, individual and group interviews, and time/motion studies.

• Skilled in synthesizing information into clear, actionable reports and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Additional Experience:

• Experience working with multiple Life/Annuity carriers.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across operations and IT areas.

• Proven track record of working directly with key business stakeholders, including C-level executives.

• Some experience in organizational assessment or design is desirable.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:

• 5+ years of Process Rationalization and Consolidation

• 5+ years of Report and Presentation Creation

• 5+ years of Experience with Multiple Life/Annuity Carriers

• 5+ years of Collaboration Across Operations and IT

Education: University bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - 160,200.
