Position Description:
**The Quality Assurance Specialist must be able to travel to properties within the State of Tennessee. When not traveling to properties, the Specialist will be working from home. CGI will reimburse for mileage and hotel. Training will be provided.

Quality Assurance Specialist reports administratively to the Director of Training and Compliance, and Quality Assurance. The Quality Assurance Specialist manages the day-to-day activities of the Quality Assurance Department. Monitors performance and quality control activities to ensure the accurate and timely completion of core contract administrative activities conducted by PBCA staff.
In addition, monitors and manages cyclical and concurrent quality control reviews for all scheduled contract administrative activities and unscheduled analysis requested by Department Managers. Candidate must be self-directed to complete daily and monthly reporting requirements as dictated by the Director.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Manages performance and timely reporting of all tasks as defined in the Quality Assurance Work Plan, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Regulations, Guidelines, Procedures, Handbooks, and Notices, Memorandum of Agreement, Subcontract Agreement, and Business Process Policy and Procedure Manuals:
Possess outstanding knowledge of and not limited to HUD Regulations, Handbooks, Notice, ACC Requirements and Statement of Work, CGI Policy and Procedures and Compliance Requirements.
Auditing of ACC IBPS Tasks:
o Management and Occupancy Review
o Documenting Owner Civil Rights and Compliance
o Processing Rental Adjustments
o Owner Opt-Out Notices and Contract Termination
o Owner Opt-Out and HAP Contract Termination: submit resident data to HUD
o Life-Threatening Health and Safety issues
o Non-Life Threatening Health and Safety issues
o Budgets, requisitions and revisions
o Renewals of expiring HAP Contracts
o PBCA Invoice
Schedule and maintain Auditing Records, Off Site Review and Client Quality Review Responses
Development and Maintenance of Quality Control Plan and Quality Control Operation Manuals
Ensure Policy and Procedure Manuals are in Compliance with HUD Regulations, Handbooks, Notice, ACC, and CGI Policy
Participate in monthly, quarterly workshops and staff meetings to provide continual education of policy and procedure
Participate with HUD meetings as requested
Participate with weekly, monthly, quarterly local and state office meetings
Review HUD Policy Issues Log and update quality assurance protocols as required
Conduct Monthly Peer to Peer Quality Assurance Review
Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Compliance Assessment Reports based on Quality Assurance Analysis
Travel required (50% or more)
The Quality Assurance Staff may at times perform operational tasks and manage portfolios during staffing shortages and ramp-up of new project initiatives, approve bank transactions and execute HAP Contracts on behalf of our PBCA client.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Must have at least five (5) years’ Experience.
Must be self-directed requiring minimal supervisory support.
Must be able to travel to properties within the Nashville Metro Area as well as 1-2 hours outside of Nashville every 2 weeks. When not traveling to properties, the Specialist will be working from home.
Proactively stay abreast of HUD Regulations, Handbook, ACC requirements and CGI Policy and procedures.
Perform assigned tasks timely and accurately.
Communicate and share ideas clearly, concisely, and effectively.
Work collaboratively with Client and HUD personnel along with CGI members at all levels of the organization.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $23.07 - $38.02.
