Position Description:

At CGI, we believe that innovation starts with a deep understanding of business needs. We are currently seeking a Business & Functional Analyst to join our dynamic teams and actively contribute to the optimization of our processes and technology solutions.

You will play a key role as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. If you enjoy understanding, structuring, and moving projects forward while ensuring smooth collaboration among all parties, this role is for you.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Analyze stakeholder needs and provide concrete recommendations

  • Model and document business processes as well as functional and technical requirements

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions

  • Draft and maintain documentation using tools such as Confluence

  • Participate in project planning and scheduling follow-ups

  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear and continuous communication

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Must reside in the province of Quebec

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • Bilingual (French/English) – comfortable speaking and writing in both languages (the role involves interaction with international clients)

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills

  • Experience working in Agile environments and with tools such as Jira and Trello

  • Proficient with documentation and modeling tools such as Confluence

  • Autonomous, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Assets:

  • Experience in the retail or wholesale sectors

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry (parts, tires)

  • Experience in data analysis, dashboard creation, and performance indicators (e.g., Power BI)

  • Experience in consulting environments
