We are initiating a major project that will build a new platform to support stock transfer and investment plan services to more than 1,200 companies across the United States. Project will consist of combining the best in breed solution assets of the portfolios, and stand up a world class solution in a new data center to support the Services division. Services provided include stock transfer and registrar, dividend disbursement, investment plan, employee stock purchase plan, full escheatment, and corporate action services, as well as annual meeting, proxy, and tabulation services. The ideal candidate will have experience working in enterprise solutions environments.
Systems Support Analyst to provide senior level systems administration. In this role you will provide high level technical systems support, systems administration, and act as an escalation point where duties are varied. This position primarily supports telephony systems.
The selected candidate will support highly complex technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and/or technical products and services in a Avaya, Java, and Windows environment.
This candidate will act as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and process re-engineering to improve delivery, support and governance process execution. Assess changes for risk to production systems and assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported areas and create change/issue logs as well as analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Perform migrations from lower environments to production, lead upgrades, installations, and configurations.
Evaluate or review queries to extract data, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported.
Update and or author documentation and procedures.
Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues while coordinating resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups.
May coordinate project resources and provide guidance to less experienced analysts.
Coordination and relationship building with Technical and Business partners.
May also perform some leadership initiatives in support of the team mission.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
5+ years systems support analysis experience.
7+ yrs. application administration or production support in a telephony (Avaya) environment
Experience with owning and driving technical initiatives
5+ yrs. Application administration or production support in a Windows/SQL environment
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Previous web application server experience which may include Tomcat, WebLogic, IIS
Business process improvement experience
