Position Description:

CGI Federal’s Housing Compliance team that partners with a local public housing authority and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to assist in the provision of affordable housing has an opening for a Local Contract Specialist (LCS). The LCS works alongside property managers and owners of Section 8 building and help them to remain in compliance with all the HUD rules and regulations.

CGI is looking for a motivated individual that is able to multi task, has good time management, report writing skills and able to oversee a portfolio size of 45-60 Section 8 properties. Must be detailed oriented and able to work individually and in a team environment. Candidate must be able to strive in a fast pace, time sensitive and time driven environment where quality and quantity must go hand in hand.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

-Portfolio management

-Able to work independently and on a team

-Time management and ability to produce quality work is very important

-Report writing skills and able to oversee a portfolio size of 45-60 Section 8 properties

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

-Must have at least a High School diploma

-Detail oriented

-Able to meet deadlines

-Produce accurate work

-Must be organized, excellent communication skills, able to work within computer systems

-Report writing, quality control, ability to Multi Task and available to travel.

-US Citizenship is required


Desired Qualification – Associates degree or higher. Property management, Quality Control, Section 8 or Housing background.
