We are seeking candidates with Business Analyst experience in Life Sciences Quality & Manufacturing and GMP fields, as well as strong consulting, analysis, problem solving and communication skills. Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsible for gathering requirements in collaboration with the business and business analysts, documenting detailed requirements along with mapping these layers to the database, mapping extracts from the database, participating in design discussion with the Solution Architectures and supporting the Quality Assurance analysts during the testing phase.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

3-5 years of designing/enhancing information systems applications within a dynamic IS environment.

Working from a Business Requirements Document, develops and documents a detailed statement of requirements for the proposed solution in the Technical Requirements Document.

Works in a collaborative manner with the Business Account Manager (BAM) to define technical requirements, as well as the business rules for data population/transformations.

Works with the Developers to ensure that there is a complete understanding of the Technical Requirements Document.

Defines and documents interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.

Supports Defect Management process, using a defect triage approach, for both integration and UAT; requires an ability to organize, document and communicate well, prioritize and multitask.

Analyze BRD/TRD user requirements for reports, forms, queries, and data extraction to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the business requirements.

Create and document data profiles to drive data modeling and source to target mappings

Define new business and data definitions

Collaborate with analysts, architects and developers

Create and maintain data mappings, transformation logic (for logical and physical models) to support implementation and ongoing maintenance of the operational data stores and warehouses.

Assist modelers in the maintenance of storing source, design and target mappings and data definitions

Provides detailed analysis on all new data model and ETL development requests to ensure the solution is developed in an efficient manner and works properly with other applications within the system.

Working knowledge in some of the following areas:

 Informatica, Toad, XML spy, CVS,

 MS Excel, Visio and PowerPoint,

 Oracle 11g, SQL Server, MS Access,

 PL/SQL, XML, HTML,

 Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse
