New client for CGI is an $8B health plan company serving over 1.2M members. Client struggles with their product and benefit configuration. This position provides them with more strategic thinking of how to construct product and benefit packages. The role involves interacting with Sales & Underwriting teams as well as heavy participation with configuring their core admin platform.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Work closely with business and IT stakeholders
Design, document, and implement product and benefit configurations
Support the testing, deployment, and support of configurations
Design and implement support tools to streamline processes
Benchmark systems, analyze bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them
Articulate and align fellow teams to data process designs.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5+ years of benefit design and configuration within a health plan environment
• 5-8 years of experience in information technology
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity.
• Constant focus on what is possible and helping others to see the opportunity in the midst of challenge
• Strong communications skills. Ability to communicate across a diverse set of resources. Comfort delivering difficult messages in a fact based approach.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating agile delivery with globally distributed virtual teams
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a highly-matrixed organization effectively.
• Moderate to Advanced Microsoft Office suite skill level.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
• Ideal candidate has worked with PowerMHS
• Ideal candidate has worked for medium-to-large healthplan in similar type role
• Ideal candidate has clinical expertise
• Ideal candidate has some SQL expertise
