Your future duties and responsibilities:
Over 5-10 years IT experience in BIP, OBIEE 11 and OBIEE 12
Acts as the principal designer for major systems and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs.
Provides comprehensive consultation to business unit, IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).
Works closely with client, IT management and staff to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, reuse of existing code through the use of program development software alternatives, or integration of purchased solutions or a combination of the available alternatives.
Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective application programming solution.
May code new or modified programs, reuse existing code through the use of program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions.
Documents, tests, implements and provides on-going support for the applications.
Working with various vendors and teams to design and develop interfaces to integrate with various applications and databases including Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Providing technical support for user acceptance testing
Design & Develop OBIEE RPD metadata and reports including logical columns, alias, hierarchies, and subject areas
Translate business analyst requirements into technical design and implementation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL Oracle 11, SQL Server 2008 , Database Functions, Stored Procedures
Over 5+ years of working Experience with BIP, OBIEE 11 and OBIEE 12.
Experience with business requirement gathering and analysis
Understanding of Business Analysis for dimensional data models
Knowledge of Database Performance Tuning
Experience with Data Warehousing Modeling concepts
Experience with business intelligence solutions
Experience with ETL development, SSIS , INFORMATICA
Understanding Data mining concepts
Experience with systems analysis, documentation and specification writing
The candidate must be focused, hard-working and willing to perform analysis at both high and low levels
Ability to present information in a clear and logical manner is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, willing to work extra hours.
Agile projects working Experience
Over 5 years of experience with Hyperion SQR and Hyperion Interactive Reporting.
Experience with Data conversions
Experience with Cross table data validation
Over 2 years of experience with SSIS & Informatica.
