We are looking for a mid-level Developer with 5+ years of experience developing large scale software applications using .Net and experience with Business Intelligence tools such Tableau, SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Cloud migration. Working with a team of highly skilled and innovative full-stack application developers, these individuals will be responsible for full SDLC of web applications. This position is Lafayette,LA based with minimal to no travel required to client site.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The role requires direct and leveraged expertise (at least 5 years) in a specific technology or set of technologies such as .NET, product suites, etc., that a team would use to implement a technology solution.
As a Developer, you will be responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module.
Responsible for translating software requirements into workable web based applications, including writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and supporting applications using .NET and other programming languages and development tools
Participate in project planning sessions with technical and functional leads, business analysts and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to data flow
Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues.
Work in Agile scrum development team or independently assisting on projects that
require .NET development. expertise
Gather system requirements and develop specifications, Write code according to specifications, Quality review of others' code or designs, Diagnose and fix bugs in conjunction with QA team
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
5 plus years Hands-on experience in Software Development as a software developer, developing Web Applications.
Understanding of SDLC processes, spanning requirements/issue management, defect tracking, source control, build and test automation, and release management
Experience with designing and developing applications using .NET development platform (C#, ASP.Net).
Experience with designing and developing applications using Windows workflow.
Hands-on experience using Agile methodology using one or more of these - Scrum, DevOps, Scaled Agile etc..
Demonstrated experience with Azure and Amazon AWS, Cloud Migration, Microservices.
Hands-on experience with dashboard and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of Micro-services cloud native software development.
Demonstrated experience with evaluating code quality using tools such as SonarQube to perform automatic code reviews to detect bugs and security vulnerabilities.
Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of TFS, JIRA, Confluence etc..
Knowledge of data modeling concepts. Database experience with either SQL Server (T-SQL) or MySQL.
Working knowledge of MVC, MVVM, Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Design and CI/CD patterns Strong understanding of authentication, authorization security concepts.
Experience with Web Services Development
Experience with front end development using JQuery, CSS, HTML 5
Comprehension of Oracle 11/12 and SQL
Experience in Application Security Code Review and/or Application Vulnerability Assessment
Experience developing 508 compliant user interfaces
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with ability to work in a rapidly changing environment utilizing good time management and prioritization skills, while maintaining high quality and being flexible to customer needs and timelines
Grant Management experience a plus
Ability to working effectively and collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
Able to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated performer with a desire to work on a project team, learning and developing software features
