Position Description:
In this exciting and pivotal role, you will become an integral part of CGI Federals Learning and Development Team. You’ll have the opportunity to use a consultative approach to create customized L&D solutions to meet the ongoing growth and performance needs of our members and business.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of a robust technical training curriculum (e.g., AWS, Azure, DevOps, Cyber, AI, Machine Learning). Learning solutions may include, in-person programs, virtual live instructor lead, on demand, externally curated learning, learning paths and blended programs.
As the Learning & Development Lead – Technical Skills Curriculum you will work closely with cross-functional teams to align with business and member development priorities, identify learning needs, define learning solution strategy, develop a portfolio of solutions and measure, and ensure overall impact.

This role reports directly to the Learning & Development Director role. This position can be based in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA office.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Align learning strategy to business and member development priorities for a specific population or set of technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management teams to align learning initiatives with business and member development priorities.
• Conduct comprehensive needs analysis among internal stakeholders and members to identify technical competency gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
• Engage with members to understand specific needs and requirements to incorporate into program development and improvement.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) and leaders to define learning objectives and create effective learning strategies tailored to our members.
• Work closely with vendors, global and strategic alliances, SME, facilitators, and technology teams to ensure the timely and high-quality development and delivery of learning solutions.
• Conduct ongoing assessment and evaluation of learning programs to measure their impact and effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning design and delivery to enhance member experience and learning outcomes.
• Promote a culture of learning within the organization, encouraging members to engage in continuous development opportunities.
• Able to travel 10% of the time for off-site program delivery.
• Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5-8 years of experience leading talent development programs, project management, organizational development, strategic consulting, or similar roles.
• Post secondary degree in business, organizational development, instructional design, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience within a fast-paced, global professional or technical services firm, or similar environment, is preferred.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), learning management experience platform (LMXP), and e-learning authoring tools is preferred.
• Association for Talent Development (ATD) membership, Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with and influence a diverse group of global stakeholders across a complex matrix, working independently and proactively to drive multiple, shifting priorities with a sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong knowledge of scope management to control program changes, maximize productivity, minimize cost, and minimize schedule impact.
• Proficient in using data analytics to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning solutions.
• Passion for L&D, and a deep understanding of current trends and innovations in the profession.
• Proficiency in MS 365 – Teams, Forms, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,000-$161,600.
