Position Description:

As part of the Information Outsourcing (ITO) program for our client, we are seeking an Administrator/Developer to support the customer Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Suite that includes: Hyperion Strategic Finance, Hyperion Financial Management, and Hyperion Planning. CGI focuses on providing reliable and available information technology solutions to aid in ensuring that our client maintains decision advantage in performing all of its myriad missions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The candidate will maintain technical integrity of the existing Hyperion system, and will work closely with Business managers to analyze and resolve operational problems, and enhance the capabilities of the Hyperion environment. Strong technical knowledge of Hyperion Foundation Services, EPM Architect, Calc Manager reporting components, Planning, Essbase services, and Strategic Finance are required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Perform daily production support, monthly maintenance activities, and provide troubleshooting of user-identified problems with the Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite in a heterogeneous Linux and Windows environment

• Manage activities across Hyperion environments for development, test, QA, and production environments

• Perform impact analysis of related application and OS patches and upgrades, and communicate with Business leads

• Experience with installation, configuration, patching, upgrade, shell scripting

• Experience with Oracle database administration, SQL scripting/programming skills

• Skilled in technical documentation of application system installations, diagnostic support, triage, and complex system flows

• Experience using tools to monitor and report on the overall system health and behavior

• Knowledge of technical computing infrastructures, hardware and network environments

• Communicate clearly and directly with customers that use Hyperion applications

• Work with Oracle Support to resolve environment/application issues via SRs

• Proven analytical and problem solving skills

• Review logs for applications, managed servers, services, etc. to troubleshoot and resolve problems

• Comply with the standard release cycle and deployment controls

• Must adhere to all internal IT policies and controls while handling sensitive financial production data

• Experience of working within a large database development project team

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship)

• Bachelor's degree is required

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Prior Experience in Regulatory and Compliance Reporting will be an added advantage

• Prior experience of supporting internal management reporting will also be considered as an advantage
