This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Arlington, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Day-to-day responsibilities include working in a SAFe agile environment to develop and execute automated test scripts to troubleshoot existing critical issues to identify/implement long-term solutions for our customer. Working in collaboration with our ERP product team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• BS in computer science, computer engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content

  • 1+ years of experience with Java

• Analyze, document, and articulate business requirements for complex financial business logic for software testing.

• Design and execute test cases for modeling financial software transactions to ensure they meet business needs and model requirements.

• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools for the Momentum ERP.

• Extract data requirements through various methods including individual and group discussions, independent data analysis, and extracting from a suite of financial functions and code.

• Build and Maintain Automation Frameworks using Java and perform back-end application development

• Develop a test plan and/or test application in development status or debug an application in production mode.

• Document or review documentation of steps in specification development, coding, testing, and user acceptance for future reference and for internal control purposes.

• May provide support to applications in production by tracking production problems and troubleshooting them to sustain applications in production.

• Lead cross functions to ensure application enhancements quality meets expected business results. May lead test strategy and facilitate customer and end-user testing through test & learn development iterations and closing the loop on customer feedback.

• Experience on Continuous Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment using various DevOps tools – (e.g., Jenkins)

• Experience working in a SAFe Agile software development environment.

• Ability to deliver tasks/assignments in a timely manner

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to learn and understand the nature of business

• Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

Experience with Selenium or similar automation testing tool

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50,800.00 - $119,200.00.
