Position Description:

CGI is seeking to hire a Testing Manager in Jersey City, NJ.

You will be a part of an agile team developing test strategy, test approach, including automated testing framework, for a large U.S. Financial institution’s strategic program. This is an exciting opportunity to work with CGI’s Banking practice, to help innovate and deliver outstanding quality! You will be exposed to and work with top-tier client personnel in helping them satisfy critical business objectives.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Contribute to the development, implementation and continual evolution of the Test Automation strategy.

Develop test approach, strategy, scenarios, document test cases, build test data/files and compile test summary documentation.

Support the team in the selection and implementation of test automation tools and frameworks that are suitable for their needs.

Participate in sprint/project/release planning to establish and maintain testing plans and initial scheduling estimates for the program.

Work with project teams to ensure that system requirements and solution designs are clearly understood and testable.

Ensure accurate functional and non-functional test coverage.

Develop and maintain automation tests and test cases and contribute to continuous delivery.

Actively participates in requirements and design reviews, release readiness reviews and other inspections.

Coordinate with business partners and raise issues as needed.

Provide ongoing process improvement and efficiency metrics for the program.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

3+ years leadership experience defining test strategy and test approach for sophisticated agile projects.

5+ years of experience with test automation frameworks / tools (i.e., Selenium) and script development using scripting languages (i.e., Python, JavaScript).

3+ years proven experience in test integration and processes including integration with DevOps pipeline, Collaborative, and Test Management tools.

Must have experience implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) practices.

Experience with and detailed understanding of formal defect management processes.

Proven expertise troubleshooting sophisticated software applications.

Ability to work well with other teams to resolve issues and defects.

Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with targeted milestone deliverables.

Strong knowledge of agile models of development.
