**Your future duties and responsibilities:**

• Provides problem resolution and counsel to management on strategic and complex subcontract issues.
• Prepares and negotiates complex and routine subcontract documents (e.g., subcontract agreements, correspondence, memoranda, etc…)
• Assists the Purchasing Director with establishing guidelines and procedures for contract record organization and files. Audits and provides oversight of purchasing packages prepared by junior staff and peers to ensure compliance with guidelines/procedures (i.e., CPSR)
• Ensures subcontractor kick‐off meetings are conducted and periodic reviews are documented
• Establishes periodic meetings and builds relationships with external and external counterparts
• Leverages strong working relationships with all corporate organizations (e.g., Contracts, Legal, Shared Services, PMO, Risk, Supplier Diversity Outreach, EAS, etc.) to achieve optimal positioning. Communicates and executes subcontract directives/policy

**Your future duties and responsibilities:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for assigned agency(s) procurements/contracts and responsible for maintenance of contract data in company database(s), contract files, and the submission of ad-hoc reporting and research, as needed.
Will be responsible for collaborating with proposal teams on proposal efforts for new competitive and sole source procurements for follow-on work or other pursuits as assigned. May also be responsible for detailed review and collaboration on smaller non-competitive responses, to include ROM estimates and RFI responses, including final electronic submission and correspondence with the government’s designated acquisitions workforce as applicable.
Will be expected to be mature, professional, and have the ability to think independently to resolve problems using proactive concepts, techniques, standards, and apply a general business acumen as it applies to contract management.
**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**
BA/BS plus minimum 7 years relevant experience. Additional years relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirement.
Strong preference to federal government (Non-DoD) acquisition experience.
Must have excellent analytical skills, effective written and oral communication skills, effective negotiation skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Must understand the broader impact of proposed or awarded work and contract terms on the company, be able to identify and resolve contract issues with guidance as necessary and advise program staff and management of contractual rights and obligations.
Applicant must have a strong working knowledge of contract administration principles and possess working knowledge of U. S. Government procurement regulations (FAR/Agency Regs, as applicable).
Ability to directly and professionally interact and negotiate with government acquisitions personnel and teaming partner personnel.

Background investigation components can vary dependent upon specific assignment and/or level of US government security clearance held. CGI will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrests and conviction records in accordance with all local regulations and ordinances.
CGI will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with CGI’s legal duty to furnish information.
