Position Description:
US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED
CGI Federal is currently looking for a Service Desk Analyst with active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The Service Desk Analyst will provide IT support via phone, email, and chat; our team is comprised of dynamic, passionate people with a focus customer service while providing IT support to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve IT issues on 1st contact. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
• Monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions including customer service requests.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and other IT systems.
• Monitor and respond to operating and error messages.
• May enter commands at a computer terminal and set controls on computer and peripheral devices.
• Document technical issues and resolutions in a ticketing system and escalate issues to appropriate teams as necessary.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Strong knowledge of common hardware and software applications used in an enterprise environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• .NET, C#, Vue3, Typescript, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Scala, Databricks
*Minimum of 5-8 years' experience as a Service Desk Analyst
*Active Top Secret clearance

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $49,400.00 - $105,500.00.
