Position Description:

The Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Project Engineer provides technical supports and ongoing technical assistance needs for systems on Operational Technology (OT) projects in the area of physical and virtual servers and network infrastructure associated with the Industrial Control Cyber Security area. Support ongoing operational responsibility for ensuring appropriate and secure setup, migrations and implementations of systems contained within the Process Control Domain.

This position is based in Houston, TX. Selected candidate is required to be in office at least 3 days a week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Pro-actively support projects on Process Control Domain computers from planning, design, configuration, actual implementations, migrations, mobilizations and demobilizations.

• Provide hands on technical support related to the overall health of the operating systems environments (both physical and virtual servers).

• Support the installation, configuration and migrations of Backup and Recovery systems.

• Support setup and system hardening of new server computer systems which will be implemented. Provides server support related to other software installations.

• Support the design, installations, implementations and migrations of the domain controllers, virtual server host computer operating systems, disk arrays, and other components into a new virtual infrastructure environment.

• Perform troubleshooting as required. As such, prepare test plans and risk assessments, support test plans and support problem-solving efforts before and after divestment migrations.

• Together with the project network engineer, support the development of procedures, scope of works, risk assessments and other documentations.

• Support the creation of detailed tasks and schedules which will be continuously coordinated with Project manager and Site Focal Points for peer reviews and approval.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Industrial Control Systems Cyber Security within oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.

• Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems LAN/WAN topologies.

• Hands-on and field experience administering physical and virtual s windows servers.

• Experience with backup & recovery systems.

• Experience with Anti-virus systems

• Knowledge of heterogeneous networked server environment, including Microsoft Windows Servers, Backup, Active Directory, and Group Policies.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000- $161,600.
