Position Description:

CGI is looking for a UX/UI Designer who works largely independently within defined projects/work streams and is checked on end results. Has an executional role in design and development projects or acts as an expert tester who designs test scripts and provides overall project guidance and planning support. Advises internally on solving functional and technical problems regarding the assigned applications and Infrastructure.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• UX/UI designer will be asked to work with business stakeholders to define core UX/UI requirements for real-time active fluid monitoring and process safety rig dasboard.

• Sit with customer to capture business needs, vision of toolset, etc. (user-centric design such as Design Thinking Workshop).

• Ability to quickly adapt and create projects consistent with brand guidelines or expend them if required.

• UI/UX mock-ups and prototyping.

• Facilitate business feedback/testing of prototype(s).

• Handover UI/UX requirements to product team for development requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 5 years professional client-side experience in leading designing user-friendly User Interface (UI) for responsive web and mobile and tablet applications for iOS and Android.

• Experience in creation consistent and carefully considered, accessible and well documented corporate UI guidelines (Atomic Design, design patterns, iconography etc).

• Experience in working with Google Material Design and iOS design guidelines.

• Expert’s proficiency with design tools such as: Sketch, Adobe XD, inVision Studio, Zeplin, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

• Solid understanding of usability and accessibility standards including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) & ISO 9241.

• Strong Portfolio which includes a collection of case studies that show your capability and passion for design.

• Full understanding of the design and development lifecycle and a track record of launched modern responsive websites and mobile applications for iOS and Android.

• Proven experience of practice knowledge working in Agile Projects from user stories and backlog management to acceptance criteria.

• Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time with a broad range of stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Nice to have multiple languages (English +X).
