Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Program Manager to lead a team tasked with developing, implementing and sustaining strategic future operations. This role will support major strategic implementation that will modernize DoD processes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Program Manager (PM) shall provide onsite management, direction, administration, quality assurance and leadership.

The PM shall serve as the Government primary point of contact and provide technical supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to support - to include subcontractors.

The PM will support these initiatives, relationships, teaming arrangements and maintain responsibility for meeting program/business goals in support of program objectives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field required.

  • Prior Project experience required (4 years of additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) should have 10+ years of experience working on DoD projects or programs, with at least 4 years serving successfully in positions of major responsibilities such as a project manager.

  • Project Manager PMP certification required.

  • Possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance (day 1 requirement). Able to start with an interim clearance.

  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

Desired qualifications:

  • DAWIA certification a plus.

  • A minimum of 7 years of successfully performing in a role of major responsibility tied to large project management with tight deadlines.

  • Strong customer service, organizational skills, knowledge of applicable DoD/Government policies and procedures.
