Position Description:

The ISR A/T will develop accurate, operational environment focused ISR injects for unit exercises and teach/coach/mentor members of Division/Brigade/Battalion level staffs and intelligence support elements in the integration and synchronization of ISR in the operational environment (OE) context. The primary role is to prepare units for both exercises and deployments around the world. The ISR A/T must be an ISR subject matter expert (SME) who has proven collection management abilities during recent operational deployments to OEF/OND.

The ISR A/T conducts research on ISR activities to fill unit training requirements, including AOR specific ISR capabilities and various military branch and organization processes. Develops lessons learned, best practices, and after action reports addressing ISR synchronization and operations integration in current theater operational environments.

The ISR A/T develops training material, including Power Point presentations, handouts, pocket-guides, on-line resources, and other intelligence products and media.

The ISR A/T will serve as a mentor/coach and team leader on various training events after completing an internal certification process.

The ISR A/T replicates Division level collection management activities, conducts research on ISR activities to fill unit training requirements, including AOR specific ISR capabilities and various military branch and organization processes. Develops lessons learned, best practices, and after action reports addressing ISR synchronization and operations integration in current theater operational environments.

The ISR A/T will serve as a mentor/coach and team leader on various training events after completing an internal certification process.

This position is based out of Fort Eustis, VA. 35%-50% CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Provide training instruction and task execution feedback based on current, authoritative sources, such as published Joint doctrine and Universal Joint Tasks.

• Develop accurate, OE focused ISR injects for unit exercises.

• Provide Joint ISR integration and synchronization teaching/coaching/mentoring of units in both field and classroom environments.

• Integrate ISR support, monitor/track status, negotiate dynamic changes and interact with control nodes and Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) organizations.

• Provide planning, preparation, and assessment support to all ISR Integration training programs, exercises, and events.

• Provide on-site SME to augment training programs’ staff during exercise and event execution.

• Assists in the development of instructional support materials including MTT handouts, on-line resources, ISR Product Guides, Graphical TTPs, and ISR Sync Pocket Guides.

Primary work location is Newport News, Virginia (Fort Eustis) with potential travel to National Training Center (NTC), Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC), and Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC), as well as other locations as required. 70% travel OCONUS and CONUS.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

**Education:

Bachelors Degree required with acceptable level of related experience.

**Experience:

• Military intelligence professional, ideally a recently separated mid-level Non-commissioned Officer (NCO), warrant officer or mid-level Commissioned Officer with 5 years of solid ISR experience

• Ability to articulate Joint, Theater, and Coalition ISR capabilities, architectures, and collection management processes.

• Possess strong verbal and written communications skills.

• An experienced briefer, comfortable in front of senior officers and leaders

• Understand ISR capabilities and its level of dexterity which will allow to the contribution of a Modular Force and the transition to Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE).

• Understand ISR, Targeting, and Joint Fires relationships and challenges and ability to discuss with a Brigade/Division Staffs

• Understand the Targeting Process and how it relates to Battle staff planning, integration and synchronization.

• Military instructor or observer controller background is a plus.

**Security Clearance:

Must have a SECRET security clearance and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.

**Conditions of Employment:

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

• Must have a valid passport

**Working Conditions:

• Primarily working in an office environment.

• Will occasionally be required to operate in a field environment and wear a helmet and carry a light rucksack.
