Position Description:

CGI is actively seeking an experienced trainer skilled in organizational change management, requirements gathering, business process modeling, and training material creation and execution to join a dynamic team responsible for planning and implementing financial management automation at a large federal agency. This is a great opportunity to expand your skillset in areas such as project management, client management, and business analysis.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with the client’s business processes by reviewing current processes and mapping them to future state (“to be”) processes.

  • Assist in gathering requirements (business, functional and technical) using collaborative meetings and discussions with the customers, stakeholders, and the business process re-engineering team.

  • Collaborate on creation and development of "to-be" standard operating procedures and training materials, including self-paced computer-based training and Web-based training; in-house development of demonstrations, user and instructor documentation, slide presentations, and brown bags; classroom training presentations and demonstrations, and additional supplemental materials for multiple end users, and eventually help desk support.

  • Assist in the development, review, maintenance, and consistency of training deliverables.

  • Assist in tracking, monitoring, and resolving training risks, issues, and action items.

  • Work on cross-functional initiatives within the project lifecycle.

  • Proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team; generate, propose, and implement innovative solutions to solve them.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 10 years of experience developing and delivering training and training materials in flexible formats and delivery strategies.

  • Organizational Change Management Experience

  • Experience creating eLearning content.

  • Experience working directly with clients and ability to lead meetings.

  • Critical/Analytical Thinking.

  • Excellent communication skills; oral/written

  • Strong command of MS Office tools.

  • Strong PowerPoint skills.

  • Teamwork Experience

  • Detail Oriented.

  • Issue resolution experience.

  • Action Oriented.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and provides high-quality deliverables.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

  • Project Management experience.

  • Experience with SharePoint.

  • Experience with ticketing systems (i.e., JIRA).

  • Experience working on major implementation/upgrade programs ($1B and above).

  • Team Leadership experience, including mentoring junior team members.

  • Risk Management.

  • Client Management

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300.00 - $185,800.00.
