CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Test Engineer. You will enhance the cyber security posture of 26 civilian government agencies through improved visibility into user credential management. You will actively identify and mitigate a wide range of cyber risks and will also work closely with a wide variety of agencies, learning their mission, priorities, organization and unique challenges. This opportunity will support a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic project running 20+ concurrent implementations.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Support the development of the master test plan and project schedule, including all details related to automated versus manual testing Leads team members to ensure quality solution.
Support the development of test cases/scripts, test case automation, test execution and validation of results.
Support the development and execution of the problem reporting process.
Participate as part of test teams that are heavily involved in developing the requirements and software design artifacts to ensure that they are familiar with the requirements and expected functionality of the system.
Support the delivery the system test plan and update as required.
Support the delivery of client expectations and involvement in the various testing activities.
Support the development of reports that provide the results of the testing activities.
Support the development of reports on project progress, risks and issues.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 8+ years of related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience as a Test Team Lead, including for federal customers
5+ years of experience in quality assurance and/or testing
5 years of experience managing testing teams
3 years of experience with automated test suites
3 years of experience with federal testing requirements, including 508 and IV&V
Excellent leadership and communications skills
Thorough working knowledge of the entire SDLC, IT systems and processes, testing methodologies and their direct implementation to projects
Thorough working knowledge of developing, maintaining and executing test strategies/plans/cases
Effective writing skills to communicate to customers and internal team members
Cyber security and/or Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
Organizational skills to work with the vast array of information
Ability to maintain own workload and meet deadlines
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
